For the first 66 episodes, fans of the show were left clueless as to where Chuckie’s mother was. The revelation of her death was made in a special episode of Season Four, in celebration of Mother's Day. Kim Cattrall of Sex and the City voiced Chuckie’s mom in the tear-inducing episode.
